Description

Prepares and cooks family style meals for residents and staff following all government regulations.

Tasks

  • Report to work promptly and on time.
  • Schedule, attend, and complete all annual agency trainings.
  • Prepare and cook food according to menu and number of persons served.
  • Handle special menu requests as needed.
  • Standardize recipes and control portions to prevent waste.
  • Assure high-quality food products consistently.
  • Maintain kitchen standards in compliance with agency policies.

Qualifications / Education

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. No prior experience or training required.
