Description

Responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing mechanical, electrical, air systems and hydraulic components while having the ability to utilize all facets of their technical background to support the majority of components on the customer’s equipment. Mechanics are expected to provide above industry standard quality and customer service.

Tasks

  • Direct routine maintenance: inspect drives, motors, belts, check fluids, and replace filters.
  • Inspect, operate, or test machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions and find solutions.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and consult manuals to determine corrective actions.
  • Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical components, plumbing, or machinery.
  • Clean or lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other machinery parts for smooth operation.
  • Adjust parts of devices or instruments using hand tools, levels, and other instruments.

Qualifications / Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years experience in mechanics
