Description

Responsible for employee education through inservice education and on-site education coordination, the employee safety committee and incident report investigation and tracking, and the planning, coordination and delivery of wellness and employee engagement programs aimed at improving employee health and well-being. Some of the wellness programming includes stress management, smoking cessation, weight reduction, early detection and related programs. Demonstrate continuous efforts to maximize engagement and outcomes to create a quality wellness worksite, encouraging employees to make lasting healthy lifestyle changes. Also encourage positive thinking, foster morale and a sense of camaraderie.

Tasks

  • Contribute to the business planning and health promotion/wellness intervention process.
  • Manage the engagement and outcomes of the worksite wellness program.
  • Provide guidance to employer and employees on how to have a successful wellness program.
  • Work with the wellness committee on a regular basis to find innovative ways to implement programs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with employees.

Qualifications / Education

  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and be proficient utilizing a computer.
  • Must possess strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize assignments.
  • Must possess a high degree of interpersonal skills.
  • Must possess the ability to make independent decision
