Description
Process the company payroll, maintaining computer work schedules and punch details and reconcile schedules to punch details. Calculating time sheets for various personnel, transmit payroll to payroll service, maintaining payroll reports and assure that ACH is made in a timely manner.
Tasks
- Manage payroll and scheduling software and understand its detailed functions.
- Stay updated on payroll issues and attend seminars for continued learning.
- Maintain records for deductions, leave time, and employee hours.
- Review payroll for accuracy and correct any wage computation errors.
- Ensure payroll uses correct local, state, and federal tax tables and rates.
Qualifications / Education
- Must have experience in health, human services, and or community services field.
- Knowledge of financial accounting is preferred.
- Must have had training or experience in secretarial work, and data processing.
- Must be a person with proven integrity due to the confidential nature of his/her work.
- Must possess strong organizational and time-management skills.
