Description

Use and maintain the necessary equipment to provide for the upkeep and care of the facility and grounds. Delivers packages and materials, transport equipment and tools throughout the building, set up equipment, tables and chairs as needed per instruction, and maintain building security at all times.

Tasks

  • Keep electrical and mechanical equipment in safe, working condition.
  • Maintain and repair resident care equipment as needed.
  • Ensure all plumbing fixtures are kept in good working order.
  • Maintain fire and emergency systems; document regular testing.
  • Oversee and perform ongoing preventive maintenance tasks.

Qualifications / Education

  • Maintenance personnel must have experience in basic maintenance to include educational background or partial work experience in small engine repair, carpentry, electrical maintenance, plumbing, heating/air conditioning systems, grounds keeping, painting and general maintenance.
