Description
Answer the telephone and route all calls to the appropriate department. Take and deliver telephone messages as needed. Answer Chapel Ridge’s telephone calls and route all calls or messages to the appropriate department as needed. Escort and assist visitors and salespersons as needed. Answer all visitors’ and residents’ requests and questions accurately and courteously and/or refer to the appropriate personnel.
Tasks
- Provide announcements to staff as needed.
- Arrange for office equipment repairs as needed.
- Ability to ‘unjam’ copy machine, & log copier count.
- Empty shredder as needed and insert new bag.
- Replenish and attend to all office machines as needed.
Qualifications / Education
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Previous secretarial and/or office experience
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff, residents, and visitors
- Personal attributes: Neatness, accuracy, attention to detail, proven integrity, capability of upholding confidential matters properly, ability to maintain a professional attitude, and the ability to interact with residents, visitors, and staff in a courteous, friendly manner.
