Description
Develop and implement facility accounting policies incorporating federal and state standards and generally accepted accounting principles. Oversee accounting systems adherence to such policies. Establish and oversee payroll policies and procedures, including reconciliation and payments of payroll taxes. Manage and oversee the receipt, collection, deposit and accounting of revenue. Prepare annual operating and capital budgets. Oversee direction, integration, compilation and forecasting of long-range projects.
Tasks
- Develop procedures and policies on cash management and short term financing needs.
- Develop policies and assist in managing portfolios and the Bradford Endowment Fund.
- Supervise accounting staff and manage related budgets.
- Compile and analyze data to prepare required state and federal reports.
- Perform internal audits, prep financials and support docs; coordinate with external auditors.
Qualifications / Education
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field necessary.
- Three (3) years experience in Business Operations and Management of related field.
- Experience in long term care preferred.
- Prior experience in Management and/or Supervision preferred.
- Knowledge of non-profit and governmental accounting, payroll processing, purchasing and accounts payable process, risk-management programs, cash flow management, investment policies and procedures, and auditing procedures.
