Description

Coordinate the employment process for the organization and oversee the employee benefits program and all personnel recruitment: career fair participation, advertisement, and position postings. Evaluate, in conjunction with the Chief Executive Officer, the personnel needs of the organization and supervise the screening of applications. Coordinate and oversee new personnel orientation – pre-employment physicals, completion of required forms, process criminal background checks and orientation of employees in accordance with state mandated guidelines.

Tasks

  • Ensure compliance with laws regarding employment of staff and volunteers at all levels.
  • Oversee benefits, reporting, and open enrollment for health, dental, vision, 401K, and more.
  • Coordinate employee meetings on benefits and programs like insurance, YMCA, United Way.
  • Maintain employee database; manage changes like contact info and status updates.
  • Complete surveys for EEOC, Civil Rights, and employee census data as required.

Qualifications / Education

  • Prior experience in Management and/or Supervision (Healthcare preferred)
  • Must possess strong leadership skills
  • Must be able to work under high level of stress and able to make good judgments
  • Ability to hire, direct, and manage personnel
  • Must be a person with proven integrity due to the confidential nature of work
  • Must possess strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills; must possess computer skills
  • Must possess a high degree of interpersonal skills
  • Ability to make independent decisions
