Director of Environmental Services

Responsible for ensuring both Bradford Ecumenical Home and Chapel Ridge are maintained to ensure a safe, operational environment and oversee all Maintenance personnel and the Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor.

• Oversee grounds upkeep (grass, roads, walks) and ensure snow/ice removal and mowing is completed.
• Maintain phones, security, call systems, and related equipment.
• Complete Environmental Services paperwork like requisitions, evals, and timesheets.
• Keep CEO and Administrator informed of major facility issues requiring attention.
• Ensure staffing needs are met, fill in as needed, and confirm coverage for all events.

• Must have five to ten (5-10) years’ experience in facility management.
• Must possess comprehensive knowledge of construction practices, building operating systems and regulation codes.
• Must possess knowledge and understanding of mechanical systems, technology, Dept. of Health and DPW regulations, electrical systems, HVAC, and facility disciplines.
• Must be able to work flexible hours and be on call as needed.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to relate to residents and staff in a courteous and diplomatic manner under all circumstances.
