Description
Supervise and oversee work of prep cook and Food and Nutrition aides to ensure all work is completed in a timely manner. Prepare meals to include getting tray tickets ready, prepare for alternate diets, and recording temps of all foods.
Tasks
- Assemble food in steam tables.
- Pull any foods that will be needed for future use according to the menu.
- Assist with putting away stock as needed.
- Clean work area as required.
- Wash all pots and pans from meal prep.
Qualifications / Education
- Previous food service experience is required.
- Must be have some knowledge of cooking terms, preparations, and be able to follow a recipe.
- Must attend and pass a ServSafe certification course.
- Must be in good physical and mental health and be able to meet the demands of the position.
