Description

Supervise and oversee work of prep cook and Food and Nutrition aides to ensure all work is completed in a timely manner. Prepare meals to include getting tray tickets ready, prepare for alternate diets, and recording temps of all foods.

Tasks

  • Assemble food in steam tables.
  • Pull any foods that will be needed for future use according to the menu.
  • Assist with putting away stock as needed.
  • Clean work area as required.
  • Wash all pots and pans from meal prep.

Qualifications / Education

  • Previous food service experience is required.
  • Must be have some knowledge of cooking terms, preparations, and be able to follow a recipe.
  • Must attend and pass a ServSafe certification course.
  • Must be in good physical and mental health and be able to meet the demands of the position.
