Description

Must project credibility and possess well developed social skills. Must be able to work independently. Must possess a high level of flexibility and tolerance to adjust to changes in workloads, assignments, hours and days (i.e. weekends, evenings, and holidays). The Admissions Coordinator is accountable for increasing quality census by representing Bradford Ecumenical Home, Inc. to the community.

Tasks

  • Provide prospective residents, resident representatives and visitors with tours.
  • Complete required admission paperwork timely and ensure all required documentation is obtained.
  • Conduct home, nursing home and hospital visits to explain admission procedure and required paperwork.
  • Coordinate with Administrator and Nurse Manager to conduct preadmission screening for appropriate placement.
  • Assist in development and implementation of “customer satisfaction surveys” for residents and families.
  • Coordinate sending discharge surveys and sympathy cards (when appropriate) upon discharge.

Qualifications / Education

  • Minimum high school diploma plus relevant experience.
