Description

Serve as an ambassador to the personal care program and supports the Administrator in meeting his/her responsibility for overall administration of the program/facility. All responsibilities will be conducted in a manner that is consistent with the philosophy of personal care.

Tasks

  • Serves as an ambassador of goodwill to all who enter the personal care facility.
  • Answers and screens all incoming telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Directs telephone calls and takes and delivers telephone messages, as appropriate.
  • Provides basic facility information about the personal care program and forwards inquiries to the Administrator.
  • Escort and assist visitors and salespersons as needed.
  • Answers all requests and questions accurately and courteously and/or refer to the appropriate personnel.
  • Greets all visitors in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.

Qualifications / Education

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Previous secretarial and/or office experience.
  • Medical records experience.
  • Notary License or willing to become a Notary.
  • Computer skills – primarily Word, Excel and Publisher.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with staff, residents, and visitors at all levels of the organization.
