Description
Serve as an ambassador to the personal care program and supports the Administrator in meeting his/her responsibility for overall administration of the program/facility. All responsibilities will be conducted in a manner that is consistent with the philosophy of personal care.
Tasks
- Serves as an ambassador of goodwill to all who enter the personal care facility.
- Answers and screens all incoming telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner.
- Directs telephone calls and takes and delivers telephone messages, as appropriate.
- Provides basic facility information about the personal care program and forwards inquiries to the Administrator.
- Escort and assist visitors and salespersons as needed.
- Answers all requests and questions accurately and courteously and/or refer to the appropriate personnel.
- Greets all visitors in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
Qualifications / Education
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Previous secretarial and/or office experience.
- Medical records experience.
- Notary License or willing to become a Notary.
- Computer skills – primarily Word, Excel and Publisher.
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff, residents, and visitors at all levels of the organization.
