D&A Treatment Supervisor

Description
Actively listen and address client's problems through support and guidance in solving problems and identifying healthy behavior. This may be done in individual, group or family counseling on an outpatient basis. Oversees and directs the outpatient department staff.
Tasks
- Supervise all outpatient treatment staff in DDAP and grant-funded programs under ADAS.
- Approve and assign vacation, compensatory time requests, and manage requests for compensatory work.
- Monitor client charts for compliance, evidence-based fidelity, and service coordination through supervision.
- Coordinate file review schedules with the department to ensure proper chart maintenance.
- Conduct monthly fidelity checks to ensure evidence-based treatment is delivered in the department.
Qualifications / Education
- Two (2) years of experience as a Drug and Alcohol Treatment Specialist; or A Master’s Degree or above from an accredited college with a major in medicine, chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a clinical specialty in administration or the human services) or other behavioral sciences and two (2) years of clinical experience in a health or human service agency including one (1) year working with individuals who are chemically dependent; or A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in medicine, chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a clinical specialty in administration or the human services) or other behavioral sciences and four (4) years of clinical experience in a health or human service agency including one (1) year working with individuals who are chemically dependent; or An Associate’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in medicine, chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a clinical specialty in administration or the human services) or other behavioral sciences and six (6) years of clinical experience in a health or human service agency including one (1) year working with individuals who are chemically dependent; or Full certification as an addictions counselor by a statewide certification body, which is a member of a national certification body or certification by another state’s substance abuse counseling certification body, which is a member of a national certification body and three (3) years of clinical experience in a health or human service agency including one (1) year working with individuals who are chemically dependent.
