Description
Manages the administrative, inventory, load check security, manufacturing, and showroom sales activities of the location by performing the following duties personally or through direct reports.
Tasks
- Inspect yard, warehouse, and equipment, adjusting space and procedures as needed.
- Assist in purchasing material handling equipment.
- Plan and implement training for yard personnel.
- Monitor deliveries to ensure service quality and asset protection.
- Maintain yard and storage areas in a clean, orderly manner.
- Oversee yard safety, including training and accident investigations.
- Address service inquiries, rates, and schedules.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints with the store manager.
Qualifications / Education
- Undergraduate degree in Business or related fields is preferred, but not required. Excellent analytical, communications, personal leadership, and business management skills. Knowledge of residential, multi-family, and light commercial building techniques and industry standards. Comfortable working in a challenging, fast-paced sales environment. Team builder; ability to create and maintain an environment that welcomes associate participation.
