JOB FUNCTIONS Support 5S, Lean, and Continuous Improvement Techniques Document and facilitate communication and troubleshooting of issues Validation of Customer Claims and reporting Supports and collaborates with other QA staff to accomplish all daily QA tasks on-time with a high level of quality. Develops processes to ensure the highest level of quality assurance possible by evaluating defined methods, and tools. Create and Update procedures, workflows, and instructions ensuring for use of best practices. Shares those best practices to team members to develop a strong quality culture. Conduct daily touch base meetings with QA on established KPI’s Work closely with production on processes and procedures, educating others on complex issues that support best practices for quality assurance. Investigate problems, analyze root causes, and derive solutions Development and implementation of on-going training programs for the QA Team Provide department specific orientation and training for new hires as needed Maintain open communication with internal teams Plans and develops testing effort via test plans and test cases for larger-scale projects. Documents results and communicates results to team members and management. Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with the Seco Code of Conduct, Niagara Cutter Handbook and Niagara Cutter Management System. Coordinates or completes calibration of measure equipment Report on Global KPIs as needed. Other duties as assigned by QA Manager. SAFETY, SANITATION & SUPPLIES Follow established safety regulations in the use of equipment and supplies. Ensure work areas are maintained in a clean, sanitary and safe manner. Report all work-related accidents/incidents/hazards/near misses to supervisor no matter how minor. Follow fire, safety policies and procedures and established smoking regulations. Request necessary safety equipment and supplies in an efficient manner Wear appropriate PPE and request additional PPE as needed per job PERSONNEL FUNCTIONS Perform specific tasks and assignments in accordance with established policies and procedures and as instructed by supervisor(s). Notify Manager according to procedures when you will be late or absent from work. File complaints/grievances with manager according to procedures. Display a personal appearance which is clean, neat, professional and appropriate to the job. Demonstrate support of the values of Niagara Cutter, LLC. Attendance Create and maintain an atmosphere of positive emphasis with a cohesive team environment. Fosters positive communication and does not buy into gossip. Willing to work extra hours as needed. QUALITY FUNCTIONS: Assist with transition of new products and technology into production Use manufacturing engineering practices, responsible for defining routers and manufacturing instructions Communication skills. Support prototyping activities of new product development Evaluate and approve drawings, routers, specs and other documents. Organizational skills

Qualifications / Education

  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
