Description

The Quality Manager is part of the management team who ensures that all products within the company meet consistent standards. They develop and implement quality control policies and procedures to ensure the company's result is what it should be, inspection plans and frequencies are created and adjusted as needed and writing reports and findings to act where needed. The Manager is overall responsible for maintaining the Quality Management System and requirements are implemented to maintain ISO-9001 certification for the site.

Tasks

  • Investigate customer claims and internal issues; lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Oversee quality system documents to ensure ISO-9001 compliance and best practices.
  • Prepare quality reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing QA data.
  • Direct internal audits and compile quality info for management reviews and customer audits.
  • Supervise QC lab activities and train new employees on quality standards and procedures.
  • Collaborate with departments and suppliers to meet and improve quality and compliance goals.
  • Support 5S, Lean, CI initiatives, and explore new quality tools to exceed performance standards.

Qualifications / Education

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or related operations experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in a supervisory or management role
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiar with ISO quality standards and processes
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Preferred Certification through ASQ
  • Ability to read blueprints, technical documents, and manuals.
