Description

As part of the management team, the Production Manager is ultimately responsible for the employees, machines, and methods. Ensures that the manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently, and personnel is competent.

Tasks

  • Work with managers to set objectives and align production team goals.
  • Set goals and coordinate production personnel to meet targets.
  • Plan and oversee production to meet SOPs, specs, and deadlines.
  • Ensure equipment is operational and materials are available.
  • Monitor production flow and quickly resolve any issues.
  • Assess project scope and determine resource requirements.
  • Develop budget; track expenses and cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications / Education

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or related operations experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in a supervisory or management role
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
