Pre-Grinding Manager

Set up and prepare various departmental machinery in accordance with the Machinery Operating Instruction Manuals in order to meet all job requirements and specifications. Load/unload fixturings/packaging in accordance with the operating instructions and specifications, making the proper adjustments to ensure optimal functioning of all equipment. Read and follow production schedules, work orders, and sequences.

• Assess machine movement, gauges, dials, and sounds to detect potential equipment failures.
• Troubleshoot and adjust equipment to resolve mechanical or operational issues.
• Interpret part drawings and item attributes; follow production routings.
• Perform inspections per requirements and established protocols.
• Use appropriate inspection tools to maintain product specifications.

• High School Diploma/GED
• Previous manufacturing experience a plus but not required
• Career and Technology education preferred but not required
