Description

Responsible for the oversight of the Agency’s financial performance including, but not limited to workshop accounts, funded accounts, investment/savings accounts, charitable trust, subsidiary accounts and any miscellaneous accounts.

Tasks

  • Develop annual budget with input from departments; oversee fiscal planning and controls.
  • Manage payroll, tax reporting, pension, and benefit plan administration for all staff.
  • Supervise Accountant, Compliance Director, and Photo Techs; support their growth and work.
  • Coordinate audit prep, submit required IRS filings, and ensure grant/donation tracking.
  • Prepare monthly reports for board, finance committee, and departments.
  • Oversee Driver’s License Center operations, including hiring, training, and payroll.
  • Maintain fiscal compliance, reconcile accounts, and support monitoring reviews as needed.

Qualifications / Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related business field from an accredited college or university plus 5 years of related experience; Master’s degree and/or CPA preferred.
  • Possess a strong working knowledge of all generally accepted accounting principles and regulations pertaining to all services provided by the Agency and demonstrate excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills.
  • Maintain a professional attitude and appearance.
  • Personal qualifications include the ability to handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously, deal with changing priorities, attention to detail, leadership, supervisor/administrative abilities, and the ability to work in a team environment with all levels of the organizations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Must have reliable transportation.
