Description
Responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring the treatment of all their clients which may include I.O.P., Individual, Group and/or family therapy along with case management.
Tasks
- To ensure clinical staff follow policies and procedures consistent with regulatory requirements and the objective of Deerfield Behavioral Health.
- To ensure all employees, as necessary, complete yearly mandatory training requirements exclusive to managed care requirements and the Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs.
- To ensure patient privacy and confidentiality privacy are upheld by all staff according to 42 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).
- Direct guidance, supervision, and management of the department including interviewing, hiring staff, staff performance evaluations, employee disciplinary actions in conjunction with Executive Director, reviewing and approving staff time sheets, scheduling staff working hours, periodic direct observation of staff performance, and providing appropriate feedback on staff performance.
- To evaluate, problem solve, and work to resolve issues with the Director that negatively impacts the ability of DCAT to meet its clinical objectives and delivery of services.
Qualifications / Education
- Bachelor's degree with a CAAC, CADC or CAADC, or at least 1 year of experience in direct patient care is preferred
- Master's Degree in health related field preferred
- Training and experience in individual, group, and family therapy modalities
- Understanding of addiction and recovery; ability to assess addictions and related problems
