Maintenance Supervisor

Description

Provide the necessary maintenance on the facility, equipment in every department, and do maintenance and repairs as requested by staff and residents. This position is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing Federal and State regulations and established company policies and procedures.

Tasks

  • Performs preventive maintenance on boilers, pumps, laundry, motors, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing.
  • Completes emergency repairs throughout the facility as needed.
  • Conducts construction and renovation work for small projects.
  • Installs new equipment including ice machines, kitchen appliances, and computer lines.
  • Performs plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, wallpapering, AC, and welding tasks.
  • Maintains company vehicles to ensure proper operation.
  • Maintains emergency systems such as generators, fire alarms, and nurse call systems.

Qualifications / Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent. One year of experience preferred.
  • Ability to use tools and equipment to repair and construct
  • Knowledge and ability to work on plumbing systems, electrical systems, alarm systems, appliances, household and commercial stoves, refrigerators, washers, dryers, air conditioning and heating units;
  • Ability to read and understand specifications, plans, corrections, and State and Federal standards and safety requirements.
