Laundry Aide

Clean the linens and clothing articles of the facility for the residents according to State and Federal Guidelines.

• Follow Laundry Dept policies and procedures; maintain clean, safe, and sanitary environment.
• Fold, stack, hang, deliver linens; assist washing, soaking, drying clothes as needed.
• Retrieve soiled linens if not delivered; assist with production and inventory data reports.
• Ensure infection control and fire safety policies are followed at all times.
• Report accidents/incidents; assist with lifting heavy equipment when requested.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident info; respect residents’ personal and property rights.
• Attend departmental meetings, in-service training, and on-the-job education programs.

• 1 year working experience in a healthcare facility preferred but not required.
