Feeding Assistant

The Nurse Assistant Aide plays a very integrate and important role at Christ the King Manor and we are seeking patient and cheerful individuals to join our team. This is a great position for High school students wanting to start in the healthcare field.

• Assist nursing duties: make beds, tidy rooms, replace or clean soiled items, and restock supplies.
• Pass fluids, ice, snacks, and meals; set up and clear trays for residents as needed.
• Transport residents safely, pushing wheelchairs; empty isolation garbage when required.
• Respond promptly to call lights and phone; provide group and one-on-one resident activities.
• Calculate and record resident intakes and outputs accurately; maintain confidentiality and dignity.
• Communicate resident conditions clearly; maintain safety and proper body mechanics at all times.
• Attend all required trainings; assist with resident evacuation in emergencies; foster positive relations.

• Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
• Must meet pre-hire physical requirements.
• Must be able to pass a PA State Criminal Background check
• Registered Pre-apprentice program
