Press Outfeed (I)

Responsible for handling and transporting master panels from the press to the whip area and ensuring a steady supply of panels to the sander. Requires operating a large-capacity (280) forklift to efficiently move and stage panels while maintaining workflow and minimizing production bottlenecks. Plays a key role in ensuring smooth transitions between pressing, storage, and sanding processes while prioritizing safety and efficiency.

• Operate a 280 forklift to transport master panels safely from press to whip area and sander.
• Ensure consistent panel flow to sander, preventing production delays and maintaining efficiency.
• Inspect master panels for defects or damage before staging for further processing.
• Monitor inventory levels in whip area and collaborate with press and sander operators.
• Perform routine forklift inspections and basic maintenance to ensure safe operation.
• Maintain clean, organized staging areas, ensuring proper stacking and storage of panels.
• Adhere to LOTO and PPe requirements, ensuring compliance with environmental standards.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Six months or more of work experience
• Experience working in an industrial and/or manufacturing environment
• Experience in material handling, forklift operation, production operation, machine operation, or utility
• Experience using a computer for record-keeping and documentation functions
