Description
Accountable for safe forklift operating and loading of trucks.
Tasks
- Use forklift to load trucks and railcars for distribution, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
- Perform quality control checks on products before tagging for distribution.
- Tag units for distribution, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Maintain proper housekeeping practices in the loading and shipping areas.
- Ensure drivers are wearing appropriate PPe during loading and unloading.
- Verify trucks are loaded accurately, neatly, and in accordance with requirements.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and on time for each shipment.
Qualifications / Education
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience working in an industrial and/or manufacturing environment
- Experience in material handling, forklift operation, production operation, machine operation, or utility
- Experience using a computer for record-keeping and documentation functions
