Description

Responsible for leading a team of maintenance techs (electricians, mechanics, reliability) to ensure the reliability and efficiency of plant equipment. Oversees daily maintenance activities, prioritizes work orders, and ensures that preventive and corrective maintenance tasks are completed safely and efficiently. Works closely with operations, engineering, and safety teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance.

Tasks

  • Supervise maintenance teams, providing direction and support for high performance and safety.
  • Prioritize and oversee maintenance tasks to minimize production downtime.
  • Ensure scheduled maintenance programs are completed to prevent unplanned downtime.
  • Guide technicians in diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Enforce safety protocols, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company policies.
  • Collaborate with production supervisors to coordinate maintenance and minimize disruptions.
  • Maintain records of work, downtime, KPIs, and identify equipment/process improvement opportunities.

Qualifications / Education

  • Associate degree or technical certification in Maintenance, Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required).
  • 5+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial setting.
  • 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Ability to prioritize and assign maintenance tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
