Supervisor Shipping/Scheduling

Responsible for overseeing outbound shipments, coordinating logistics, and managing production scheduling to ensure timely order fulfillment. Ensure smooth communication between production, warehouse, and transportation teams while maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency in shipping operations. Plays a key role in optimizing scheduling processes, reducing delays, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Oversee product loading, transportation, documentation, and on-time deliveries.
• Develop production schedules aligned with orders, inventory levels, and plant operations.
• Coordinate with carriers and internal teams to manage shipments, rates, and issues.
• Monitor stock levels to ensure efficient order fulfillment and minimize excess inventory.
• Lead shipping/warehouse teams, ensuring safety, standards, and productivity goals are met.
• Drive improvements in scheduling, loading, and shipping to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
• Serve as main point of contact for scheduling, shipping inquiries, and updates to customers.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (preferred but not required). 3+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or production scheduling. Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, preferably in MDF or wood products. Strong understanding of shipping operations, scheduling, and inventory management. Ability to coordinate logistics, carriers, and warehouse teams efficiently. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Experience with management warehouse systems.
