Environmental Manager

Responsible for ensuring the plant operates in full compliance with environmental regulations, permits, and company sustainability goals. This role oversees air, water, and waste management programs, conducts audits, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to minimize environmental impact. Collaborates with leadership, operations, and regulatory agencies to maintain compliance and promote environmental stewardship.

• Ensure compliance with EPA, DEP, and other environmental laws and regulations.
• Manage permits and reporting for air, water, and waste to meet operational limits.
• Oversee emissions, stormwater, and waste programs, submitting reports to agencies.
• Conduct audits, prep for inspections, and drive corrective actions as needed.
• Reduce emissions, energy use, and waste through process improvements.
• Train employees on environmental compliance and best practices.
• Lead incident investigations and coordinate with regulators and sustainability teams.

• Bachelor's degree in environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of environmental compliance experience in manufacturing or industrial settings. Experience with air permits, water management, and waste regulations.
• In-depth knowledge of EPA regulations and state environmental laws. Ability to develop and maintain environmental compliance programs.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills for permit compliance.
