Description
Responsible for the clinical and administrative management of the MMM program. Duties include the supervision and mentoring of both the Assistant Supervisor, and the direct care professionals who provide medication monitoring, education, skills training and support services to individuals with mental health needs in the MMM program; internal and external communication and/or education to referral sources for the MMM program; budget development and monitoring; enforcement and monitoring of regulatory requirements; and direction of overall program operations. The incumbent will maintain a focus on mental health recovery approaches through leadership by example, coaching and the development of programmatic systems that promote interdisciplinary collaboration.
Tasks
- Leads programs confidently with strategic focus; completes tasks and follows through on plans.
- Applies clinical knowledge to guide staff and ensure recovery-focused, best-practice services.
- Maintains relevant licensure/certifications and models clinical engagement for recovery support.
- Recruits and retains qualified staff; provides orientation, training, coaching, and evaluations.
- Ensures access to professional development and promotes high-quality service delivery.
- Builds collaborative relationships across systems to ensure continuity and effective care.
- Oversees budgets, billing, and productivity, ensuring fiscal accountability and timely reporting.
Qualifications / Education
- Masters level degree in a human services related field and 5 years of supervisory experience; or, equivalent education and experience as determined by agency standards and guidelines of position; licensure preferred.
- Current certification as Certified Peer Specialist Supervisor, or will attain within one year of employment; current certification in psychiatric rehabilitation (CPRP), or will attain within one year of employment.
