Description
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in the manufacturing of roof and floor trusses.
Tasks
- Train or oversee training for all production staff.
- Supervise daily operations of saw, floor, and roof truss crews.
- Assign work to maximize efficiency and track performance.
- Inspect work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Follow up with customers or contractors on quality and timeliness.
- Schedule equipment and facility maintenance.
- Manage safety training, committees, and accident investigations.
Qualifications / Education
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
