Description
Attains sales and gross margin objectives for all product categories with contractor and DIY accounts.
Tasks
- Sell and service contractor, DIY, and commercial accounts.
- Build business partnerships to strengthen relationships.
- Recommend products and services to improve efficiency.
- Provide bids, quotes, and material estimates.
- Follow pricing guidelines set by the Location Manager.
- Increase sales volume and gross margins.
- Source and order special products for accounts.
Qualifications / Education
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Exceptional influence skills; comfortable in working at various levels throughout an organization. Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Moderate degree of analytical skill, reasoning ability, critical thinking. Working knowledge of materials and associated estimating techniques. Able to demonstrate knowledge of mathematical requirements involved in pricing and estimating to include, but not limited to mark-up, gross margin calculation, square footage and area calculation, perimeter, etc. High energy; makes early impact; high integrity. PC literate
