CDL Class B Driver

Delivers customer orders using Lezzer delivery vehicle(s) in excess of 26,000 lb. GVW following safe driving and standard unloading, customer service, and operational practices.

• Load delivery vehicles with customer orders.
• Deliver orders safely using proper practices.
• Operate delivery equipment, including forklifts.
• Provide courteous job site delivery service.
• Complete delivery invoices accurately.
• Report unsafe vehicle conditions to the Dispatcher.
• Perform yard housekeeping as assigned.

• Active CDL, Class B with air brake endorsement required. Ability to comply with and satisfactorily pass the pre-employment drug screen and random alcohol and drug screen testing per company policy. Knowledgeable of DOT regulations and ability to comply with same. Ability to work with moderate mathematical concepts such as calculating weights for material distribution at job site. Knowledge of lumber and building materials. Ability to analyze and reason in concepts of carrying, maneuvering, and unloading materials. Knowledge of delivery methods and techniques. Two to four years’ experience in merchandise delivery and customer service preferred. Ability to complete a forklift operator's certification. Demonstrates superior customer service.
