CDL Class A Driver

Delivers customer orders or freight using Lezzer delivery vehicles following safe driving and standard unloading, customer service, and operational practices.

• Load delivery vehicles with orders or freight.
• Deliver orders safely, including oversize loads.
• Operate roll-off trailers, flatbeds, tandems, and box trucks.
• Provide courteous job site delivery service.
• Complete delivery invoices properly.
• Report unsafe vehicle conditions to the Dispatcher.
• Perform yard housekeeping as assigned.
• Verify and return customer merchandise.

• Active CDL, Class A, required. Ability to drive oversize load safely. Ability to comply with and satisfactorily pass the pre-employment drug screen and random alcohol and drug screen testing per company policy. Knowledgeable of DOT regulations and ability to comply with same. Ability to work with moderate mathematical concepts such as calculating weights for material distribution at jobsite. Knowledge of lumber and building materials. Ability to analyze and reason in concepts of carrying, maneuvering, and unloading materials. Knowledge of delivery methods and techniques. Two to four years’ experience in merchandise delivery and customer service preferred. Ability to complete a forklift operator's certification. Demonstrates superior customer service.
