Special Projects & Industry 4.0 Specialist

The exempt position of Special Projects & Industry 4.0 Professional is a position that is filled through the bid process or appointment and awarded on leadership ability, work ethic, job qualifications, and job performance. This position is responsible for all aspects of special projects and design of the plant of the future.

• Plans, monitors, and manages projects from initiation through execution.
• Leads or coordinates project planning, resourcing, staffing, supply and subcontract management, progress reporting, troubleshooting and people management for projects.
• Manages projects to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costs.
• Responsible for accomplishing the project objectives.
• Monitors performance and recommends schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions.

• Bachelor’s degree and/or related operations experience
• 5+ years’ experience in a lead, supervisory, or management role
• Demonstrated leadership and teambuilding skills
• Possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Data analytic skills and experience
• Detailed oriented
• Flexible thinking, including the ability to pivot and try new approaches when faced with challenges
• Ability to work on multiple projects in various stages simultaneously
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
