Production Manager

As part of the management team, the Production Manager is ultimately responsible for the employees, machines, and methods. Ensures that the manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently, and personnel is competent.

• Works with other managers to formulate objectives
• Sets goals and coordinates the efforts of production personnel.
• Plans, organizes, and oversees production to meet standard operating procedures, specifications, and deadlines
• Ensures for working equipment and procuring materials
• Monitors production and resolves issues
• Assesses projects and resource requirements
• Develops annual budget, tracks expenses and cost savings initiatives
• Supervises, manages, educates, develops, and grows production personnel to ensure for a competent workforce
• Ensures for compliance with health, safety, and employment laws

• Bachelor’s degree and/or related operations experience
• 5+ years’ experience in a supervisory or management role
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
