Description
As part of the management team, the EHS Manager reviews, evaluates, and analyzes work environments and design programs and procedures to control, reduce, eliminate, or prevent disease or injury caused by chemical, physical, or ergonomic factors. May conduct inspections and enforce adherence to laws and regulations governing the health and safety of individuals.
Tasks
- Recommend measures to help protect workers from potentially hazardous work methods, processes, or materials.
- Order suspension of activities that pose threats to workers' health or safety.
- Investigate accidents to identify causes and determine how such accidents might be prevented in the future.
- Inspect or evaluate workplace environments, equipment, or practices to ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations.
- Develop or maintain industrial hygiene programs, such as air quality and noise surveys.
Qualifications / Education
- Bachelor’s degree and/or related operations experience
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Computer proficiency
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Cloud-based data access and sharing software — Microsoft SharePoint
