Description
Set up and adjust machinery to meet job requirements/specifications. Support CNC Operators for production related and tolerance issues.
Tasks
- Assess machine operations; machine movement, gauges, dials, machine functions to determine potential equipment failures.
- Troubleshoot tool dimensions; adjust tooling, modify programming parameters to resolve set up problems and have full knowledge of all tooling
- required.
- Interpret drawings, and/or item attributes.
- Follow routings to service internal customers.
- Performs inspections on first tool and thereafter (inspection on other tools only as needed).
Qualifications / Education
- High School Diploma/GED
- Previous manufacturing experience a plus but not required
- Career and Technology education preferred but not required
