Personal Care Aide

Provides supervision and guidance to assigned clients in a school setting. Acts as a support to classroom teachers by performing the following duties.

• Supervision of the individuals
• Documenting important information and data in a timely and professional manner as prescribed by the unit/program supervisor as well as the School District's Supervisor of Special Education and designated educator
• Knowledge/review of School District client handbooks, proper dress procedure, and following any policy/procedures required by the School District
• Providing one-on-one direct intervention with the child in the classroom
• Passing medication to residents at specified times

• High school graduate or the equivalent, college education preferred. Experience in child development, psychology, education or a related field.
