Medication Technician

Responsible for care of assigned clients under the direct supervision of the Mobile Medication Nursing Staff.

• Providing in-home and/or follow up support to clients under the direction of the Mobile Medication Nursing Staff
• Carrying out assigned interventions as identified in the comprehensive treatment plans for those served to address physical and behavioral health needs using recovery tools and principles
• Conveying any physical health care needs of clients to the Mobile Medication Nursing Staff, including coordination appropriate referrals to primary care providers as directed
• Knowing prescribed medication clients are taking as well as a working knowledge of psychotropic medications, any possible side effects and times meds are administered
• Maintaining current knowledge of all medications use by clients for physical health issues.

• High school education or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year experience serving seriously mentally ill adults; candidates with mental health recovery experience strongly preferred.
