Description
Responsible for the clinical oversight of various education programs within the Custer City Private School including providing therapy for students in the Alternative Education for Disruptive Youth (AEDY) program. Provides the clinical supervision for the PRTF therapists and monitors the Crisis Management committee for the AEDY and PRTF programs. Provides direct service in the Individual and Group IBHS Program, which includes written order assessment, direct service delivery and management of treatment for the clients as assigned.
Tasks
- Documenting important information and data in a timely and professional manner.
- Attending and completing scheduled required annual training.
- Developing and monitoring quality initiatives.
- Participating at case conferences as needed, and to offer suggestions and recommendations in the treatment planning process. Participating with the Treatment Team, to review referrals and make recommendations, as to their appropriateness for placement.
Qualifications / Education
- Masterās degree in a human services field along with a background in child development, psychology, education or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year full-time postgraduate experience in the provision of mental health direct services to children, youth or young adults; Licensed in this Commonwealth as one (1) of the following: A physician practicing psychiatry, psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, certified registered nurse practitioner with a mental health certification or clinical social worker, A behavior specialist and have a graduate degree that required a clinical or mental health direct service practicum, A social worker and have a graduate degree that required a clinical or mental health direct service practicum, A professional with a scope of practice that includes overseeing the provision of IBHS and have a graduate degree that required a clinical or mental health direct service practicum.
