Description

Responsible for conducting assessments; developing and monitoring treatment/behavior plans; and, providing clinical expertise, supervision, and guidance to the staff providing service to the individuals enrolled in this community-based program.

Tasks

  • Utilizes experience, up-to-date knowledge and best practice guidelines to assist clients in selecting relevant treatment strategies that will help in achieving individualized goals.
  • Utilizes counseling techniques relevant to client goals, interests and preferences.
  • Regularly consults with Dual program staff and physician to ensure that clients are availed of the highest quality services.
  • Able to model and teach clients how to become active participants in their recovery journey; maintains certification and/or licensure as appropriate to the scope of care.

Qualifications / Education

  • Licensed psychologist in the state of Pennsylvania; or
  • Master's degree (or higher) clinician with ID and MH experience; non-licensed clinician must have increased direct supervision by a licensed professional and must be actively working toward licensure.
