Patient Care Technician

Responsible for providing a variety of non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of the patients.

• Assist residents with daily living tasks like bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Monitor and record vital signs to support resident health.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Assist with mobility, including transfers and walking.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
• Report changes in condition to nursing or supervisory staff.
• Follow care plans and support resident dignity and independence.

• High school graduate or equivalent required
• Must attend hospital training if no previous hospital or pre-hospital training
• CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within thirty (30) days of hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
