Description

Responsible for directing and coordinating the admission functions of Penn Highlands.  You will facilitate pre-admission screening and decision to accept patients for the skilled nursing facility through receipt of required information and communication/review with accepting providers to ensure appropriate admission.  Will ensure that accepted patients meet admission criteria and will facilitate and participate in the intake process to meet admissions requirements.  

Tasks

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to meet admissions goals.
  • Oversee and manage the entire admissions process.
  • Collaborate with departments to support recruitment and enrollment.
  • Analyze admissions data and generate reports to guide decisions.
  • Lead, train, and support the admissions team.
  • Monitor application trends and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with admissions policies and procedures.

Qualifications / Education

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
  • Budgeting experience 
  • Have good communication skills
  • Have Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility experience
  • Have previous management experience (preferred)
  • Have ability to pass Criminal Background Check
  • Have ability to meet physical requirements of position
  • Be a team player
