Technical Sales Support

Prepare cost estimates and quotes for product manufacturing and other services to aid in bidding on or determining price of products or services. Responsible for support throughout the entire sales cycle by providing in-depth knowledge of the benefits of our products/services to our customers. May specialize according to particular service performed or type of product manufactured.

• Identify customer service needs by building rapport with potential and existing customers.
• Provide technical and engineering information about products, services, or equipment.
• Use measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments.
• Determine quotation requirements by interviewing customers and reviewing their account info.
• Review material and labor needs to decide if it's more cost-effective to produce or buy components.

• Associate’s Degree (two year college or technical school) or work equivalent, Field of Study: Engineering or related field
• 5 plus years of experience in machine shop and fabrication or a minimum 2 years in project management in a manufacturing environment
