Description
Responsible for overall clinical and administrative supervision of Personal Care Home operations, as well as continuous improvement of individual client care and treatment services for seniors through innovation and effective leadership. This includes oversight of Geriatric Targeted Case Management specialty team, and oversight of the Home PLUS program. Duties include program design, budget monitoring, facility use, determination of appropriate staffing levels, and supervision of program supervisors and specialty staff. The incumbent ensures compliance with all applicable policies, procedures and regulations, both internal and external. The incumbent is responsible for the administration, management and regulatory adherence of the Personal Care Home, including the health, safety and well being of its residents, in addition to the other relevant senior programs. Further, the incumbent will maintain a focus on mental health recovery approaches through leadership by example, coaching and the development of programmatic systems that promote interdisciplinary collaboration.
Tasks
- Confidently manages staff and programs aligned with the organizationās mission and vision.
- Completes assigned tasks; sets clear agendas for program development and quality improvement.
- Recruits, trains, coaches, supervises, and evaluates staff to ensure quality service and retention.
- Ensures staff meet training requirements and provide respectful, quality personal care to clients.
- Promotes ongoing learning; maintains PCH Administrator qualification and social work licensure.
- Ensures compliance with PCH, TCM, and geriatric regulations; monitors licensing and paperwork.
- Provides budget input; monitors contracts; develops fiscal strategies; reports outcomes and satisfaction.
Qualifications / Education
- Masters level degree in course of study related to the field of responsibility and at least 3 years experience in the field, or
- Bachelor's level degree in a course of study related to the field with at least 5 years of experience in that field
- Licensed Practical Nurse with NAPNES medication certification; experience working with individuals with mental illness and/or developmental disabilities preferred
- Meets the qualifications and trainings to be a PCH Administrator
