Description

Perform duties too varied and diverse to be classified in any specific office clerical occupation, requiring knowledge of office systems and procedures. Clerical duties may be assigned in accordance with the office procedures of individual establishments and may include a combination of answering telephones, bookkeeping, typing or word processing, office machine operation, and filing.

Tasks

  • Operate office machines like photocopiers, scanners, fax machines, voicemail, and PCs.
  • Answer telephones, direct calls, and take messages as needed.
  • Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems manually or digitally.
  • Correspond with Corporate Staff to relay HR, accounting, quality, and safety information.
  • Communicate with customers and employees to answer questions, take orders, and resolve issues.

Qualifications / Education

  • Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) is required
  • Experience: 3 plus years of experience in an office setting with HR experience
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, Outlook, Epicor
  • Communication, Written – Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely.
  • Communication, Oral – Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word.
  • Reliability – The trait of being dependable and trustworthy.
  • Confidentiality – The ability to maintain and withhold confidential employee information (HIPPA)
  • Organized – Possessing the trait of being organized or following a systematic method of performing a task.
  • Ethical – Ability to demonstrate conduct conforming to a set of values and accepted standards.
  • Accuracy – Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
  • Honesty / Integrity – Ability to be truthful and be seen as credible in the workplace.
  • Detail Oriented – Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task.
  • Accountability - Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions.
  • Self-Motivated – Ability to be internally inspired to perform a task to the best of one’s ability using his or her own drive or initiative.
  • Time Management – Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines.
